Abby and Nik's wedding day at Black Butte Ranch in Sisters, Oregon will always have a special place in our hearts. Dream clients, through and through. Throughout the process Alicia was an unwavering communicator and made it immediately clear she had a genuine passion and artistic eye for capturing the magic of weddings. One aspect of our initial consultation that really struck me was when Alicia explained that my full wedding album could take a bit of time to receive (which is to be expected of course) because she goes through each image individually to ensure it mirrors the moment rather than other services who may have quicker turnaround times because they use AI editing tools. This work is clearly her craft and it is exactly what I wanted for our day. She never pressured me with various packages but instead thoroughly laid out the pros and cons of each option and how it would best fit my budget and my vision. This included having her wonderful partner, Micah, film our ceremony so that we can relive it and be able to see our loved ones from a perspective we wouldn't have had access to otherwise.

Alicia took all of my suggestions to heart including a photo of the bouquets around my doggy-daughter, sunset photos, and capturing images with a horse (I'm a horse girl haha). She even "read my mind" about ideas I didn't think to ask about like a seamless group photo of our guests and pictures of my husband and I running through the fields making me feel like I was coming straight out of a Taylor Swift music video.

I truly cannot recommend Alicia and Micah enough. My husband and I are not the most comfortable being photographed but she immediately put as at ease, prioritized gorgeous candids (per my request) alongside classic posed photos of us with our loved ones. Micah captured our ceremony beautifully and the audio is pristine. Everyone who warned me that the wedding day goes by quickly was not kidding--having forever images that perfectly encapsulate our favorite day are valued beyond measure--and would not have been possible without Alicia Wood Photography and Films."
