How long have you been a photographer?

Alicia Wood Photography began in 2016, and I've been a wedding photographer for 5 years capturing over 100 weddings.

Do you require a contract/retainer?

Booking is completed through a signed contract and paid retainer.

How are images delivered?

Images are delivered in full resolution for download through Pixieset. Your online gallery is beautifully laid out and perfect for sharing with friends and family.

Will you use Photoshop to "fix" things?

Minor edits such as light acne or small stains are included. Full retouching is available for a fee. I do not edit a person's shape or size.

Do you offer albums/prints?

Hand-designed albums and large prints are available for purchase in many sizes. Ordering information is sent upon delivery of your gallery or may be requested sooner.

Can I purchase RAW files?

Purchase of a RAW file includes the transfer of copyright. These files may be sold on a case-by-case basis for a fee.

Wedding FAQ

How far in advance can i book a wedding?

You may book a 8+ hour collection up to 2 years in advance. Collections under 8 hours may be booked 1 year in advance.

How long does editing take?

Final galleries are delivered within 4-6 weeks of your celebration. But I provide a preview gallery 72 hours after!

How many hours of coverage do I need?

Full wedding collections are 8+ hours, including details to dancing. But the best way to figure it out is to set up a call with me!

Will you pose us?

I use light posing mixed with prompts and candid moments. No stiffness and you won't be wondering where to put your hands.

What if I have to cancel/reschedule?

Non-refundable retainers may be transferred (within contracted limits) if a date must be rescheduled. Cancellation and rescheduling are covered in my contract.

Are images watermarked?

Never!
Once your photos have been delivered they are yours to personally print.
I also offer large prints and albums for purchase.

Who is your second photographer?

Micah Wood is my incredible second shooter and even more incredible husband.

What if you can't make it?

I have an amazing community of photographers that I trust to step in during an emergency and I would edit your images. This is explained with the contract.

Can i See full wedding/elopement galleries?

Of course you can! Simply reach out through my contact form and I'll share a couple full galleries with you.

How many images are delivered?

I deliver a minimum of 50 images per hour of coverage. Having a second shooter increases it to 75/hour.

Why do an engagement session?

Engagement sessions create a relaxed time for us to become acquainted, practice some poses, and capture the fleeting moments of your dating life.

What do you charge for travel?

Travel 150 miles past Bend, OR is $50/each additional 50 miles. Many collections have travel covered within Oregon/PNW . Destination collections are rated individually.

Sessions FAQ

Do you offer Mini Sessions?

I do not currently offer stand alone mini sessions, however open grouped mini sessions once in the autumn.

How long does editing take?

Final galleries are delivered within 2-3 weeks of your session. But I provide a social media preview 48 hours after!

How early can i book a session?

Sessions may be booked up to 6 months in advance. Weekend dates are often blocked out during summer months.

Will you pose us?

What if I have to cancel/reschedule?

Non-refundable retainers may be transferred (within contracted limits) if a date must be rescheduled. Cancellation and rescheduling are covered in my contract.

I am able to rent studio space at $50/hr if you prefer an indoor space.

Will you help with locations/styling?

Upon booking your session date I send you access to my personal styling and location guides.

What if the weather is poor?

If the weather is looking poor for an outdoor session I will communicate with rescheduling or studio options.

Will you hike to a location?

I'm always up for a hike! Some of the moment incredible views involve some time spent on foot. Let's go explore!

Sessions typically deliver 40+ photos per hour of coverage. Boudoir sessions are an exception.
