In January of 2018, Katie and Brandon contacted me about photographing their wedding at Dee Bar Farms. We chatted over coffee, hit it off, and scheduled their engagement session. Engagement sessions are very important to me because I learn so much about a couple during that small amount of time! I saw Brandon and Katie's connection, their trust, and their friendship.
Once their wedding day arrived, it had been over 18 months since I had first met them. And upon capturing their first look I shed a few happy tears, because 18 months had created a bond even stronger than that of last year. Few things make me as joyful as watching people fall deeper in love.
The wedding day flew by in a blur of smiles, twirls, friends, and tacos. I had a few guests come chat with me for a while and each had their own favorite memories of Katie and Brandon to share. And before I left I made sure to try the fantastic homebrews made by the bride and groom! (Yes, they make their own beer. They are awesome.)
Katie and Brandon, it feels so weird that I won't have an "official" reason to email you soon! I've loved the time I've gotten to spend with both of you and cannot wait to see how your relationship continues to grow. Thank you for choosing me to be with you during your wedding!
