I'm going to be open and honest about something. Sessions with senior guys can be tough. I have no idea what it is like to be a teenage guy who is about to graduate high school! But I do know that not all teenage guys are at their senior session because they want to be. That ups the pressure for a photographer. Because the least fun person to have in front of your camera, is someone who doesn't want to be there.
Dakota put all of my photographer nerves at ease.
From the moment I met Dakota and his mom I knew it was going to be a good session. They had picked a gorgeous location in Eugene, OR. After a little bit of a hike we arrived by the river surrounded by soft light and bridges. Dakota took posing direction easily. We had a great time finding different backgrounds. And he did a good job not laughing at me too hard for tripping while walking backwards one billion times (there's a lot of rocks to trip over)!
I love the way that this session turned out and all the fun that I had doing it! Congratulations Dakota on your upcoming graduation! You're going to rock this year!
